Isabelle and Nicolas' story is that of a professional encounter. She had always wished to work in the hospitality trade; he, a landscape artist by training, had a green thumb. In the early '90s, they combined their talents and took the helm of the hotel Hotel Val Baussenc, The Originals Relaislocated at the entry of the small village of Maussane-les-Alpilles, in the provence countryside. In this corner of the Bouche-du-Rhône, where nature can at times be capricious, Nicolas brings to life a magnificent garden which charms the guests just as much as the 3 star hotel's services. "We've been here for 25 years and our regular guests consider our hotel their second home but without the constraints.
