Sophie and Vincent fell under the spell of the hotel, set in a 19th-century former sheepfold, and moved in there in July 2024. The hotel, Le Mas des Romarins, The Originals Relais, is located in Gordes, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park in Provence. With its stone hut, terraced fields, garden, hidden corners, and breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful villages in France, how could one resist the charm of this place? The hotel’s thirteen sophisticated and comfortable rooms are located in both the nineteenth century mas stone farmhouse and twentieth century stone workshop. They have understated and individual decor on themes including Travels, Sweet Delights, Cinema and Holidays in Provence. You can choose between a room on the ground floor with terrace/private garden shaded by century-old mulberry trees or one on the first floor with uninterrupted views of the village of Gordes, the Luberon valley and the mountains.
