Like the village of Eguisheim, The Originals Boutique, Hôtel de la Ferme du Pape has a long history. The former winery, now a 3-star hotel, takes its name from a famous figure from the medieval town: Bruno d'Eguisheim, who became Pope Leo IX in 1048. Jérôme's story is more recent, but already long with the establishment he took over in 2023. "The Hôtel de la Ferme du Pape and I know each other well," says Jérôme, who first joined the establishment a few years ago on the kitchen side. Gradually working his way up the ladder, this pastry chef's son moved away from the stove to the office. "I love the contact with customers. Every day brings a new challenge. And with 53 rooms and a restaurant serving around 100 diners, the challenges are many! All in good humor and conviviality. Willkomme!
