Dominique and William stumbled into the hotel trade by accident. Based in sunny Provence, they organised mobile art exhibitions between their three galleries in Saint-Rémy, Lyon and Brussels, finally settling down in Guebwiller (Alsace) near Mulhouse at Domaine de Beaupré, The Originals Relais. "We fell for the charms of this beautiful 19th-century home which was converted into a hotel in the 90s. It was perfect for our plan to develop a new concept: organising general art events and more specific pictorial, musical and culinary events while welcoming our guests to an unusual, incredibly charming spot." With work to revive the sleeping beauty complete, Dominique and William welcomed their first guests in 2010. "We're thrilled to say that we've converted a hotel into an art gallery and not the other way around. Our guests are surrounded by artwork, paintings, sculptures and decorative objects during their stay." And (almost) all are for sale!

ART ON EVERY LEVEL

More than a hundred works of art, paintings and sculptures are presented and exhibited in all the Estate's rooms, including the bedrooms. The 'Art Space' basement gallery exhibits around 15 professional contemporary French and international artists (painters and sculptors). Will you fall for one of them? Go ahead! All the artwork on display in the hotel is for sale. A shop selling bric-a-brac, decorative items and designer pieces is also open every day.
