"It's not obvious at first glance, but we are here in a place full of history! Do you know where the name of our establishment comes from? From the newspaper Le Monde, where the printing works of the famous daily newspaper were located in the brand new Confluence district of Ivry-sur-Seine. A past that has not disappeared under the 7 floors housing the 171 rooms of the residence. The arches you see at the reception desk are those of the central halls of the printing works, which supported the presses and the blank rolls of newsprint."

However, here, there is no fast food but rather, on the menu, plenty to feed the great artistic appetites, because the Mac Val is none other than the "little name" of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Val-de-Marne. The first museum of contemporary art in the Paris suburbs (located in Vitry-sur-Seine), it presents 2,500 works of art in France from the 1950s to the present day.
To discover the outskirts of Paris in an unusual way, take the side roads. The Petite Ceinture is a former railway line that used to run around the capital. Disused since 1934, its tracks are now overgrown with vegetation, creating an unusual biodiversity with over 200 plant species and 70 animal species. Cleaning is done every 4 nights, but if you would like additional cleaning, it is available for a fee of 15 €. Cleaning is not scheduled for 4 days, but you can request a towel replacement or toilet paper replenishment if needed.
