'Staying here offers the opportunity to spend a few days in a preserved natural setting without any disturbances,' assures the former insurance professional who embarked on her hotel creation project in 2022 after falling in love with the Domaine de Camboyer. Approximately 2,400 square meters await renovation to breathe life back into a domain that remained in the hands of a single family for three centuries. 'History tells us that the de Reynes family, of Flemish origin, played a part in the construction of the Canal du Midi. When you know the Dutch genius for canals...' Her genius has been to transform the site into a 4-star establishment with 15 rooms, numerous lounges, a reception hall, and three cottages, all without compromising the lush surroundings of the estate. 'My driving force is to offer a moment of happiness in a setting that is both beautiful and tranquil.

The 15 rooms (including a suite) at The Originals Collection, Domaine de Camboyer have been carefully designed to offer superior comfort. Ranging from 18 to 42 square meters, overlooking the park or the meadow, they blend the charm of the past (fireplace, handmade tiles or solid wood flooring) with a touch of contemporary decor. 'We have carefully thought out, designed, and meticulously selected elements, choosing to work in an artisanal and bespoke manner,' explains Isabelle. The result is a unique, chic, and cozy atmosphere.

In the heart of a lounge with a fireplace or on the terrace overlooking the park, take a seat wherever you like to enjoy your breakfast. Among the usual offerings (tea, coffee, bread, pastries, etc.), indulge in the honey harvested on-site from the 9 hives in the park, as well as eggs from the Domaine's chickens, not to mention some local cheeses. The establishment does not have a restaurant, but Isabelle specifies, 'We offer picnic baskets for lunch and meals from bistro or starred chefs.'
