In 2011, Lisa, Frédéric and their three children decided to settle on the edges of Lake Parentis-en-Born. They left behind the Paris region and their respective jobs as station manager and mass distribution executive. “We wanted a better place to live and to be our own bosses.” And here they are, hoteliers and restaurateurs at a 16-room establishment in Landes. They began work on the dining room, communal areas and guest rooms, which were renovated and decorated according to various themes. The jobs came one after the other but their commitment and enthusiasm didn’t waver. They picked up three stars along the way. “We love our trade, which is incredibly varied, and guest relations. We most enjoy seeing the familiar faces of people we’ve met over the years.”

Lisa and Frédéric had a wonderful time with the decor, dreaming up 16 different ambiances in both the sleeping areas and bathrooms: the ocean, vineyards, Alice in Wonderland, serenity, Paris, London, an around-the-world trip and more. Some rooms come with a terrace. Alone or with family (up to four people), all will enjoy the peaceful location in this rural spot.

The Lakeside hotel restaurant menu lists all the south-west’s culinary delights, from fillets and confits to mussels and chips (an oceanside staple). Our dishes are home-made with fresh, south-western products, namely Tariquet foie gras.
