For Valérie, working in a hotel has always been “obvious”. From a family of hoteliers, this young woman spent a decade earning her stripes in France and abroad before returning to settle in Castets. “I’m a second generation hotelier,” she proudly states having taken over the 56-room establishment from her mother in 2007. That same year the 3-star hotel was awarded a ‘Hospitality Trophy’ by the newspaper Sud-Ouest for hoteliers in the region. “Service, recognition of the guest, comfort and professionalism are our key values.” 15 kilometres from Dax and 15 minutes from the Landes beaches, The Originals City, Hotel Les Bruyères, Dax North is a friendly and comfortable place to stop on the Landes road.
