Domaine Le Martinet The Originals Relais
Charles and Camille bought the Domaine Le Martinet, The Originals Relais in 2008. Both were already experienced in the world of hospitality and wanted to restore the pedigree of one of Bouin’s most beautiful residences, set in the heart of the Breton marsh in the Vendée. “Our guests like being welcomed by the owners, they like to know our establishment and the story of our establishment. So let’s take a look back. In 2010, Charles and Camille took on the ambitious project of modernising the premises, renovating it while keeping the spirit of the old 18th-century residence. On the ground floor old tiles and wooden and marble panelling have been preserved as well as the monumental stone staircase dating from the 16th century. Today the 3-star hotel, situated in Pays de la Loire, with 15 peaceful rooms is a subtle blend of old and new, for a gentle way of life beneath the Vendée sky and a wonderful break in a green setting. Some have said “we don’t really want to tell people about the Domaine Le Martinet, The Originals Relais because we want to keep it for ourselves! ”
