Those here for the thermal waters, walkers and Grand Café clients mingle in this park in the heart of spa town and society life planted with horse chestnuts and plane trees around Napoleon I’s decreed springs. MOULINS: THE NATIONAL THEATRE COSTUME CENTRE

This unique centre is in the Villars area and was built at the end of the eighteenth century. It was created to conserve and develop costumes and fabric used as decor from the Paris National Opera, the Department of Performing Arts at the National Library of France and the Comédie-Française. The centre houses over 10,000 costumes, the oldest of which date back to the second half of the nineteenth century. An exhibition devoted to dancer Rudolf Nureyev (1938-1993) features stage costumes and personal items among other things.
