Nadège and Aubry were previously employees whose hotel customers gave them the desire to practice their profession. Their enthusiasm, welcome and sense of customer relations and service convinced them. "Our regular conversations with them about their experiences made us want to do this job." In 2016, the couple embarked upon the adventure by taking charge of The Originals City, Hotel La Terrasse, Tours North. Located in a business area in the north of Tours, their 3-star Tours hotel has a lovely family atmosphere with a dedicated team and real care taken in the services offered. Now well established in their new professional life, Nadège and Aubry appreciate the daily team work and contact with their guests, listening to them and taking their comments on board to constantly improve the quality of the hotel.

They can accommodate between 2 and 6 people and are suitable for both couples and families. People with reduced mobility will also find Tours accommodation to meet their expectations. The bathrooms have recently been redesigned and will all be refurbished by the end of 2018. The renovation of the room decoration and furniture is also underway.

The restaurant at The Originals City, Hotel La Terrasse, Tours North offers a full and varied breakfast buffet. The elegant dining room, with its neutral contemporary colour scheme and touches of fuchsia brought out through the accessories, is also open for lunch (subject to booking) and dinner on weekdays. The chef will serve you quality traditional cuisine. When it’s time to relax, head to the entrance of our Tours restaurant, opposite reception, and make yourself comfortable in one of the white club chairs after ordering a drink at our Tours bar.

LA TERRASSE

Here you can discover chef Jean-Pierre’s traditional cuisine, homemade from fresh products. 3 menus will be presented. Please note: the restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays (except in the event of group bookings). A cold dinner tray can be requested after 9.30pm.

With its exceptional location at the centre of the famous Loire Valley, Tours is the ideal destination for historical and architectural heritage lovers. Stroll around the old town and see the ancient half-timbered houses. Enjoy a visit to the Olivier Debré Contemporary Design Centre, which opened in 2017 and pulsates to the rhythm of the latest creations. For a great break in a natural setting, cross the road to reach the banks of the Loire and unwind at the Guinguette de Tours-sur-Loire which, from May to September, takes over the docks with a full entertainment programme (concerts, open air cinema, dance classes, etc.).
