“Each room and suite is unique, with a warm atmosphere created by the use of fine, local materials like wood, stone, and metal,” explains Alexis. The La Marmotte building offers 48 rooms, cozy havens inspired by Savoyard chalets, featuring antique furniture and unusual items that add a touch of originality. The 8 rooms in La Tapiaz combine tradition and modern design while ensuring the same level of comfort. The hotel also includes 7 suites, one of which is the iconic 120 m² “La Marmotte” suite, perfect for family vacations or gatherings with friends.

If you want to commune with nature, Alexis recommends a mountain hike along the Encrenaz pass, at 1,433 meters of elevation. The hike is recommended for seasoned hikers. A hike to the Joux-Plane lake, between Samoëns and Morzine, is a less strenuous option for getting out into nature. A hike in the Fer-à-Cheval cirque at Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval offers breathtaking views.

Open all winter, this high-altitude wood chalet welcomes gastronomes – skiers or not – in a magnificent setting. This welcoming restaurant and its patio drenched in sunlight is located in La Turche. A stove will warm up those who are cold. On the menu: meats grilled on the wood-fired barbecue and a buffet of home-made desserts. The chalet is accessible on skis via the la Turche ski lift or the Les Perrières or Grains-d’Or chair lifts. It is about one hour from Le Sincerneret on snowshoes.
