Cécile and Xavier took over the Hôtel Aux Vieux Remparts, The Originals Relais in 1989. “The hotel-restaurant belonged to one of my cousins and even before that, at the beginning of the 20th century, to my great-grandparents,” explains Xavier. Proud to perpetuate the family business, the couple is not content to continue to just keep it alive, they want it to grow. Expansions, renovations, transformations, the creation of a spa... “We wanted to create new spaces respecting the original site. And after nearly 30 years, we can say that we gave a soul to this unique place located in the heart of the Medieval City of Provins. ” An exceptional location for a charming hotel with 41 rooms combining old details and modern comfort. An address known also for its gourmet restaurant and its incredible Lounge Bar: two twelfth century cellars that served as a place for the exchange of merchandise in the Middle Ages.
